Air-Fryer Chicken Parmesan
Simple and quick chicken parmesan made in an air fryer, perfect for a busy weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breast
- kosher salt
- black pepper
- 0.33 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 large egg
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 0.25 cup parmesan
- 1 tsp oregano
- 0.50 tsp red pepper flakes
- 0.50 tsp garlic powder

- 1 cup mozzarella (shredded)

Steps
Step 1
Carefully butterfly 2 large chicken breast
Step 2
Season both sides with kosher salt and black pepper .
Step 3
Place 0.33 cups all-purpose flour in a bowl Season with a large pinch of kosher salt and a few grinds of black pepper .
Step 4
In another bowl , beat 2 large egg to blend.
Step 5
In a third bowl , combine 1 cup panko bread crumbs , 0.25 cup parmesan 1 tsp oregano , 0.50 tsp red pepper flakes , and 0.50 tsp garlic powder .
Step 6
Working one at a time, coat chicken breast in flour, shaking off any excess. Dip into egg, letting excess drip off, then finally dip into panko mixture, gently pressing to adhere and ensuring both sides of chicken are well coated.
Step 7
Arrange chicken in a single layer in an air-fryer basket . Cook at 5 minutes at 400°F, turning once.
Step 8
Top chicken with 1 cup marinara and 1 cup mozzarella (shredded) Continue to cook at 3 minutes at 400°F until cheese is melted and golden.
Step 9
Divide chicken among plates. Garnish with parsley
