- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp pine nuts
- 2 large garlic cloves
- 0.50 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 0.50 cup parmesan cheese
- \- salt and pepper

## Instructions

Combine 2 cups fresh basil leaves , 2 tbsp pine nuts or walnuts, and 2 large garlic cloves in a food processor and process until very finely minced.

With the machine running slowly dribble in the 0.50 cup extra-virgin olive oil and process until the mixture is smooth.

Add the 0.50 cup parmesan cheese and process until just incorporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
