Simple homemade pesto

Ingredients

  • 20 g basil leaves
  • 20 g pine nuts
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 50 g olive oil
  • 60 g fresh grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

Combine 20 g basil leaves , 20 g pine nuts (or walnuts) and 3 cloves garlic in a food processor and process until very finely minced.

With the machine running slowly dribble in 50 g olive oil and process until the mixture is smooth.

Add 60 g fresh grated parmesan cheese and process very briefly, just long enough to combine.

Store in refrigerator or freezer.
