- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1-2 tablespoons neutral oil
- 2 tablespoons Korean red chili paste
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 7 cloves minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1-2 stalks chopped green onions

Extra crispy chicken thighs coated in a sticky gochujang honey garlic sauce, spicy, sweet, and savory all at once. A 20-minute recipe combining two viral favorites. Based on a recipe from Tiffy Cooks.

## Instructions

### Season & Coat

Pat 4 boneless chicken thighs dry. Season evenly with salt and black pepper to taste.

Coat each piece lightly with 4 tablespoons cornstarch , shaking off any excess.

### Pan-Fry

Heat 1-2 tablespoons neutral oil in a large non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the chicken skin side down and pan-fry for 6 minutes per side until the skin is crispy and the chicken is cooked through. Remove and set aside.

### Make the Sauce

In the same pan, add 2 tablespoons Korean red chili paste , 3 tablespoons soy sauce , 7 cloves minced garlic , 3 tablespoons honey , 2 tablespoons sesame seeds , and 3 tablespoons water . Stir and let simmer for 30 seconds .

Note Skip the gochujang and add more honey for a non-spicy honey garlic version.

### Glaze

Return the chicken to the pan. Coat well in the sauce and cook for 1 minute on each side until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.

### Serve

Garnish with 1-2 stalks chopped green onions and extra sesame seeds. Serve hot with steamed rice.
