- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- \- finely chopped shallot
- \- finely chopped garlic
- \- salt
- \- black pepper

## Instructions

In a small bowl, add 0.50 cup cane vinegar , 2 tbsp water , 1 tsp fish sauce , 2 tsp brown sugar , finely chopped shallot , finely chopped garlic , salt , and black pepper (to taste)

Whisk until sugar is dissolved.

Let it stand for 30 minutes .

Do a taste test before serving and adjust sugar, water, salt, and black pepper, to taste.

The water will help lessen the sourness. Omit if preferred.
