Air Fryer Steak
Juicy ribeye or sirloin steaks cooked in the air fryer, seasoned with garlic powder, onion powder, and herbs.
Ingredients
- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
- to taste butter

Instructions
Prep the Steaks
Pat the 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with 1 tablespoon olive oil .
Season both sides with to taste salt , to taste black pepper , 1 teaspoon garlic powder , 1 teaspoon onion powder , and 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary . Let sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes .
Preheat Air Fryer
Preheat the air fryer to 400 °F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes .
Cook the Steaks
Place the steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry for 7-9 minutes for medium-rare, 10-12 minutes for medium, or 13-15 minutes for medium-well, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
Rest the Steaks
Remove steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
Serve
Optionally, top each steak with to taste butter for extra flavor. Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.
