Grilled Lobster Tails

Buttery Cajun-grilled lobster tails with garlic herb sauce.

  • 6 lobster tails
  • 2 skewers
  • 3 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley
  • lemon

Instructions

Equipment Needed

Gather your kitchen shears , skewers , grill , and a basting brush .

Cut down the top of the 2 lobster tails shell using your kitchen shears .

Spread the shell open to expose the meat.

Flip the 2 lobster tails over.

Insert a 2 skewers under the skin to prevent curling during cooking.

Season the outside with 2 tsp Cajun seasoning .

Combine 4 tbsp butter , 3 cloves garlic (minced), 1 tsp Cajun seasoning , and 1 tbsp olive oil .

Heat until melted and well combined.

Grilling

Preheat your grill to 400 degrees F (direct heat).

Place the 2 lobster tails meat-side down for a 3 minutes until nicely charred.

Flip the tails over.

Brush the melted sauce mixture on top.

Cook until internal temperature reaches 140 degrees F, about 5 minutes .

Serving

Remove from grill .

Top with 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped).

Drizzle with additional 2 tbsp butter sauce.

Garnish with lemon (cut into wedges).

Serve immediately.
